Job Description: Do you enjoy presenting to small-medium sized groups? Are you looking to highlight your public speaking skills? As a Student Leader you will be the face of Scottsdale Community College to new & prospective students and their families!

Student Leaders will lead campus tours. Tours serve as an opportunity for prospective students to see student life first-hand and explore campus. Student Leaders will also facilitate New Student Orientation (SOAR). Student Leaders coordinate the orientation program by greeting new students to orientation, providing new students with an introduction to SCC, presenting on-campus services & resources, answer student questions and sharing information about Scottsdale Community College with new students.

As a member of the Outreach and Recruitment team, this position is also responsible for a variety of office processes and procedures that support and engage students and providing administrative support to the ACE, Dual Enrollment and Recruitment programs. Duties include but are not limited to: screening and routing phone calls and visitors, responding to student inquiries requiring detailed knowledge of college policies and procedures, performing outbound student enrollment calls, coordinating communication campaigns and mailing projects, and data entry.

Students who excel at this position may be hired in the summer as a non-work study position paid by the department.
