Understanding that the customer's needs must be met, but knowing when to call a supervisor for assistance.

As a Student Leader you will be the face of Scottsdale Community College to new & prospective students and their families! Student Leaders will lead campus tours. Tours are scheduled at least twice a week and serve as an opportunity for prospective students to see student life first-hand and explore campus. You will lead prospective students & their family members around campus, pointing out various areas, resources & features.

Student Leaders will also facilitate Orientation. Student Leaders coordinate the orientation program by greeting new students to orientation, providing new students with an introduction to SCC, presenting on-campus services & resources, answer student questions and sharing information about Scottsdale Community College with new students.

Students who excel at this position may be hired in the summer as a non-work study position paid by the department.
Required Skills: Must be a current student willing to learn how to present orientation, lead campus tours and answer questions asked by prospective students and their families.

Student must demonstrate an interest in working with new students from a variety of backgrounds and total commitment to creating a positive new student transition.
